ITEC diploma in On Site Massage

This certified course is run over 50 hours and will result in an ITEC qualification of a Diploma in On Site Massage (Unit 5).

There will be a 30 minute theory examination paper and a practical examination plus students will be required to hand in 5 Case Studies additional to those required by the tutor. Successful students will be awarded the ITEC nationally and internationally recognised Diploma in On Site Massage together with a School Diploma. Student insurance can be obtained from Embody.

The course includes:

•Positive and negative stress

•The effects stress has on the body

•Diet in relation to stress

•Physical exercise in relation to stress

•Coping strategies

•Sleep

•Contra-indication to massage

•Use of classical massage techniques adapted to on site massage

•To complete detailed client case studies
